SPORTFIVE Retain ‘Agency of The Year’ Title at 2025 Leaders Sports Awards

On Tuesday, 30 September, 2025, industry specialists Leaders in Sport held their annual awards ceremony, Leaders Sports Awards, to recognise and celebrate the very best in the sport industry.
The ceremony, hosted at the iconic Victoria and Albert Museum in London, saw individuals and organisations recognised for best-in-class work across nine categories, including ‘Agency of The Year’.
The award, first introduced in 2024, is designed to recognise the leading agency in global professional sports and entertainment.
Having won the inaugural prize last year (then under the name of ‘Global Agency’), SPORTFIVE were once again recognised as the world’s leading sports marketing agency as legendary British Gymnast and six-time Olympic Medalist Max Whitlock presented their award.
On the night, the Hamburg-headquartered agency was commended for their work as a full-service sports marketing agency that strategically, commercially, and creatively connects brands, rightsholders, media platforms, and fans to enable and create impactful partnerships in sports.
We’re thrilled to be recognised as a leading agency in global sports and entertainment for the second year in a row, an achievement that truly reflects our team’s passion and dedication.
Stefan Felsing, Chief Executive Officer, SPORTFIVE

SPORTFIVE was recognized for its outstanding delivery of large-scale, strategic, and value-driven experiential and hospitality services, both inside and outside the stadium.
In 2024, SPORTFIVE played an essential role across the two biggest sporting events of the year. At UEFA EURO 2024 in Germany, the agency operated the official UEFA Hospitality Programme inside the stadium, hosting over 100,000 guests and achieving record-breaking commercial results. SPORTFIVE also delivered premium hospitality experiences for more than 50 brands, providing integrated travel and ticketing solutions that elevated the value of their hospitality assets.
Beyond the stadium, SPORTFIVE offered consulting and experiential services to over 25 sponsors across both UEFA EURO 2024 and the Olympic Games Paris 2024, including global brands such as Sanofi, Oakley, Bridgestone, ArcelorMittal, Unilever, Visit Qatar, Betano, and Alipay, creating world-class hospitality experiences and maximizing commercial impact for its partners.
Other key projects throughout the year have included SPORTFIVE’s continued work in supporting the growth of men’s and women’s football across five continents through the facilitation of commercial partnerships, media rights and perimeter advertising sales, including brokering the partnership between Borussia Dortmund and Vodafone.
Additionally, SPORTFIVE has continued to support brands worldwide to activate in the market, including through long-standing partners such as Citi, Xylem and Genesis, as well as working with global sporting talent including Jon Rahm, Jürgen Klopp and Lewis Hamilton.
These commercial successes have been complemented with the agency being named as one of the top two employers in all of sport, as well as the ‘Most Attractive Sports Marketing Agency’ for the third consecutive year in the annual iWorkinSport survey.
Stefan Felsing, Chief Executive Officer, SPORTFIVE, said: “We’re thrilled to be recognised as a leading agency in global sports and entertainment for the second year in a row, an achievement that truly reflects our team’s passion and dedication. This wouldn’t be possible without the incredible work of our teams across 60 offices worldwide, and the support of our clients and partners.”
